1. Purpose of the Job:
You will work closely with the consultancy team and project managers to deliver quality products and services to a portfolio of clients guiding them through complex accounting and transactional processes, using Cloud technologies and your knowledge and experience of bookkeeping or accounting. Full training will be given on all software however, any experience is advantageous.
2. Main Activities and Tasks

Extensive client facing activities (virtual meetings, report writing with possible requirements for onsite visits)

Extensive and complex analysis of eCommerce accounting activities and transactions

Integrations of accounting software platforms to other cloud platforms
-
Mentoring of junior and apprentice team members
-
Contributing to Outserve internal projects
-
Striving for continuous improvement
3. General Accountabilities and Responsibilities
-
Creation of detailed and accurate eCommerce reconciliation reporting
-
Creation of management reports from accounting records and systems
-
Providing guidance inline with HMRC taxation requirements including VAT
-
Operation of Xero, Quickbooks or similar
-
Supporting clients through complex accounting functions
-
Supporting clients with new software implementations and integrations
-
Providing supportive and informative guidance to junior and apprentice accountants
-

Education, Training and Qualifications

A recognised accounting or bookkeeping qualification (AAT)

GCSE A-C (or 9-4 in the new GCSE grading structure) Standard in Maths, English and Science

Demonstrable excellent written communication skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years experience of bookkeeping or accounting work. Project management or software implementation would be advantageous.
