Xero 2019, beautiful business today and tomorrow

Xerocon

OutserveWeb are proud App Integrators, we are able to use our experiences and knowledge to improve businesses and help employees enjoy work and as a result, be more productive. And so, in 2019, our team attended Xerocon, one of the biggest accounting events of the year! 

We met up with the wonderful Unleashed team! We work closely with Unleashed to resolve all of your inventory management needs. Our Managing Director, Phil, gave a demo on the Unleashed stand. 

Our Marketing Technician, Connie, was even able to speak to and take a picture with Orange Girl – and if you follow Xero on Twitter, you’ll know just how cool she really is!

And… We met the wonderful Steve Vamos, Xero CEO! After listening to powerful, thought-provoking, inspirational and emotive talks, this really helped us to leave the event on a high note!

Xero TransferWise

We have been inundated with product announcements and technological developments in 2019, but this is one of our favourites by far! Xero has introduced Pay with TransferWise, making it easy to pay all of your bills as well as reconciling quickly and securely. 

Business Snapshot

Xero announced at Xerocon London that their new Business Snapshot pilot will begin this year. Excitingly, the tool will allow you to quickly access a real-time summary of your critical performance metrics.

Highlighting opportunities, and flagging potential concerns and problems, this tool will guide your business to a brighter future.

Sign in with Xero

You know, like ‘Sign in with Google’, Xero are enabling a fast and secure way to log into connected apps in the Xero ecosystem. Removing the barrier between apps, the option to ‘Sign in with Xero’ creates a wonderfully seamless experience for clients.

Moreover, some of the biggest names have already built this functionality into their integrations. It’s even easier to connect apps and enjoy the incredible amount of integrations available to businesses using this technological advancement.

Communities of Purpose

Steve Vamos, Xero CEO gave an invigorating and fact-filled opening presentation at Xerocon. Notably, the theme of Xerocon 2019 was ‘Communities of Purpose’. And so, we would like to share with you, what that means to OutserveWeb and how it shapes our offering for you.

Xero Tax

Xero Tax is a new and innovative tool created through Xero’s acquisition of Instafile. Realising that businesses require a single source of truth to work from, using up-to-date real-time data for important decision making.

Xero Tax integrates seamlessly with Xero and utilises the new single sign-on with Xero feature to make accessing your numbers even easier. Importantly, Xero Tax is a fully integrated tax preparation workflow that saves accountants and bookkeepers time and reduces errors significantly.

Xero Tax features include:

• Integration to Fixed Asset Register
• Document Styling
• Electronic Signatures

With even more to come! This new product ensures that there is a reduced need for manual data entry. And, excitingly, the new corporation tax and accounts production module will be released in Spring 2020 – this year!
